TelVox · Connect
Pay for the voice you use.
Connect is usage-based: you pay per minute by direction, number type and path, plus number rental, recording and conferencing. We scope rates to your volume rather than posting per-minute numbers here — and the same security ships in every plan. Developer preview.
rate = direction × number_type × path
- direction → outbound | inbound
- number_type → local | toll-free
- path → pstn | sip | webrtc (sip/webrtc lower)
+ number rental · + recording & storage · + conference / participant-min
The model
Usage-based, across a few dimensions.
Connect meters what you actually run. Here is every dimension that goes into a bill — stated as a model, because the per-minute rate depends on your direction, number type, path and destination.
Per-minute usage
The core meter. Priced by direction (outbound vs inbound) × number type (local vs toll-free) × path. PSTN minutes price differently from SIP and WebRTC legs, which are lower because they skip the carrier last mile.
Path: PSTN · SIP · WebRTC
Calls that stay on SIP trunks or run browser/mobile over WebRTC carry a lower per-minute rate than calls that terminate on the PSTN. Mix paths freely; each leg meters on its own path.
Number / DID rental
A monthly rental per assigned number, by type (local vs toll-free). Numbers are provisioned with the team during the preview; self-serve search and purchase is on the roadmap.
Recording + storage
Recording meters per minute; stored recordings meter per minute-per-month after a free retention window. AES-256-GCM envelope encryption is standard — there is no separate charge to encrypt.
Conference
Conferences are priced per participant-per-minute — each leg in the bridge meters independently. We do not cap or quote a participant ceiling.
Webhooks & events
Lifecycle event delivery over the signed, SSRF-safe egress. Retries, custom headers and payload templates are part of the platform, not a metered add-on.
How it's billed
The decisions behind the meter.
A few model choices are worth stating plainly rather than hiding in a contract. These are the defaults for the preview.
- Billing increment: per-second, rounded up — you pay for the seconds a call actually spends connected, not a per-minute ceiling.
- Bundled per-minute rates (usage included in the minute price), rather than a separate base platform fee layered on top of API and call-control charges.
- Add-ons priced only where they map to a real capability: AMD and caller-ID / DID rotation. No charge for features we don't ship.
- Sandbox credentials in the developer preview let you build and test before any committed spend — framed as preview access, not a published dollar credit.

Questions
Pricing FAQ
Voice rates depend on direction, number type, path and destination, and they move with carrier costs — a single posted number would be misleading. Connect is also in developer preview, so we scope pricing to your actual call volume and feature mix on a call with sales rather than publishing rates we'd have to caveat. You'll get concrete numbers against your use case before you commit.
Usage, metered across a few dimensions: per-minute voice (by direction × number type × path, with SIP and WebRTC lower than PSTN), monthly number rental by type, recording per minute plus storage per minute-per-month after a free window, and conference per participant-per-minute. Webhook and event delivery is part of the platform, not a separate meter.
Per-second, rounded up. You pay for the seconds a call is actually connected rather than rounding every call up to a full minute. That's a deliberate choice for the preview and is stated up front so there's no surprise on the invoice.
Pay-as-you-go is the default: usage-based, no minimums, no contract. Volume applies declining per-minute brackets automatically as your monthly minutes grow. Committed is an annual agreement with custom rates against your forecast plus a CSM and priority support. You can start on Pay-as-you-go and move up as your traffic does.
No. Every plan runs on the same infrastructure with the same controls — AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, the append-only audit trail, org-scoped isolation, short-lived JWTs and signed, SSRF-safe webhook egress. Connect is built for HIPAA workloads with a BAA available and is engineered to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 controls, with certification in progress. Security is never something you buy back.
A downloadable global rate sheet is on the roadmap. While Connect is in developer preview, the most accurate pricing is the one we scope to your volume on a call — talk to sales and we'll put real numbers against your traffic.
No — those aren't products. Connect does not offer SMS, MMS, video, fax or AI voice agents, so there's nothing to price for them. Messaging is limited to WhatsApp and email. Voice, recording, conferencing, SIP/WebRTC and webhooks are the surface you pay for.
Let's put real numbers against your volume.
Tell us your call mix — direction, paths, numbers, recording — and we'll scope Connect pricing to it on a live call.
